It was in town Friday. Named after a guy who's been a test driver for them since 68. That's kind of nice of the employer. Doesn't look like it would corner very well on the street but I guess that's not what it's desinged for. My big question though is why did they build this precission, costly piece of machinery and the go and paint it orange? Weirdest color for a car.

Car accident

I got in a car accident on Saturday. Late at night on the 110 freeway near the music center in downtown L.A.
Totally my fault. Just complete stupidity on my part. I looked away for a second and *bang* I made sure the people in the other car were okay first and then I started to exchange info for insurance purposes....it turns out the driver is a Dr who teaches at USC....you guessed it, he let me off the hook as soon as he found out I was a former Trojan. No major damage to either car, so...

You guys know I'm looking for a car for Karen. I can't tell you the number of people telling me to be practical. Inculding my son who if he'll recall, his first car was a Camero. A piece of shit but it looked cool.

Axl Rose will be producing a movie called "Almost Home", set to release in 2009.

Small movie, but something none the less. Not too much info, but the plot outline is simply

"A coming-of-age drama centered on a group of teens in Los Angeles."

It's based on a book. It looks like wikipedia says Bon Jovi was going to do it at some point.
